WILMINGTON- The public library in Wilmington is expanding its annual summer reading program to all ages for the first time this year. There is now a Read-to-Me program for young children as well as programs for teens and adults. The program will run through July 28 and include weekly prize raffles.

Sign up any time by stopping by the library’s circulation desk. Since there is a prize drawing every week, it is fine to participate only during the weeks available. Residents of neighboring towns are also welcome to join.

How does it work? Each hour of logged reading time will earn one raffle ticket. In addition, receive one raffle ticket for each library event attended. One raffle prize will be drawn every Monday for each age group, with the exception of the Read-to-Me program. For more information contact librarian Amity Aldridge DeAngelis at (802) 464-8557 or petteelibrary@yahoo.com.
