DOVER- Ben Carr will present an intimate evening of solo ukulele music at the Dover Free Library on Friday, August 11, at 7 pm.

With a nod toward modern-day virtuosos Jake Shimabukuro and James Hill, Carr combines percussive strum patterns and fingerpicking with harmonic textures to create a unique ukulele sound and experience.

Carr’s performances include both original compositions and covers that flow from jazz standards and classical to rock and reggae.

The library is located at 22 Holland Road, East Dover. This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome. For more information call (802) 348-7488.
