Sandy missed us, but we were ready

Thankfully, Hurricane (and Tropical Storm) Sandy didn’t do any major damage to Vermont. That said, Vermonters were ready for the worst. That’s a good thing. The bad thing is many of our neighbors to the south, especially in New York and New Jersey, bore the brunt of Sandy. Our hearts go out to them, and we encourage all to help out in any and every way they can. When Irene struck Vermont, many folks who helped this region and state came from the very places now crippled by Sandy.

Now it’s our turn to lend a hand to our neighbors.
