WILMINGTON- Bartleby’s Books will be showcasing local photographer Nicki Steel’s “Hearts in Nature” series during the month of February. The show will be up from February 4 through March 5. The Hearts in Nature series started when Steel became interested in finding hearts in nature and photographing them. In addition to finding these hidden in plain sight hearts, she also enjoys naming the photography. Examples include: a porcupine bark gnawing “Porcu-pining for You”, an old hay rake in the snow “Spoken For”, a single stone on driftwood “Lonely Hearts Club” and a stone embedded in a stone wall “You Rock!” The series will be available in framed collages, individual mini mats and cards. In addition to the Hearts in Nature series, there will be new photography including a series of close ups of a barred owl and male cardinal.

Bartleby’s Books is open seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm and is located at 17 West Main Street in downtown Wilmington. For more information call (802) 464-5425 or visit www.myvermontbookstore.com.
