To the Editor:

On Saturday. September 29, from 10 am until 2 pm, is Dover Day at the Dover Elementary School and it is dedicated to the children of Dover. I would love if all of the children from Dover will attend. There will be a brief ceremony at 12 pm to honor the children of Dover. Throughout the day we will have the jumpy house for the kids, free food, a tent full of local crafters, a chance to sample “staddle bugs” dipped in maple syrup, made in Dover, a variety of games. Women’s tug-o-war is back this year. We have never beat the men, but this could be our year, so bring your gloves and muscles. Anyone who is interested can bring their mountain bike to try their skill on a small mountain bike course, there will be music, good conversation, and a good time had by all who attend. Anyone who would like to bring a dessert to share, it would be greatly appreciated. Can’t wait to see you there.

We are also looking for volunteers to help out on Dover Day. If you are interested contact Andy McLean at (802) 348-6878 or me at (802) 348-7148.

Thank you,

Traci Fletcher
