NEWFANE- On Wednesday, August 23, Newfane Anew Community Volunteers present Tattoo for a free concert on the historic Newfane Common, 579-589 Route 30.

Tattoo started as a street band in California during the late ‘70s, wound up in Oregon and then Alaska, until landing in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire. Now they are playing all kinds of American roots dance music on mostly acoustic instruments, some of their own time-tested originals, and lots of oldies from the books of soul, MoTown, Cajun, reggae, swing, country, and a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll.

Food vendors will be available. The concert begins at 6 pm. The rain venue is Union Hall, 579-589 Route 30. Bathroom facilities are available.
