To the Editor,

Another season of Bright Lights is coming to an end and we would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in making our towns, from Readsboro to Wardsboro, look bright and welcoming these past several months:

Our committee members, whose hard work and creativity are unsurpassed, the dedicated chamber staff, WW who always helps with the price of the LED lights, the town clerks and office managers who collect the driving map applications, Phil Gilpin Jr. who once again designed the map, The Deerfield Valley News who always so generously helps with the publishing costs of the map, the schools that participate, the “elves” in the various towns like Kathy and Jim Martin in Dover, Lenny Chapman and Keith Hebert in Wilmington, and so many others, and, of course, the towns themselves who have supported this event in a multitude of ways. And a huge thank you again, to our friends at the Sylvania Corporation, CED Twin State Electric, and Efficiency Vermont for the incredible supply of LED light bulbs supplied to our communities.

It has been especially exciting each year to see more homes and businesses joining our event. The participation and enthusiasm keep Bright Lights growing and shining and we look to have even more community involvement and creativity next year!

Most importantly, thank you to all the folks, local and visiting, who continue to tell us how much they enjoy the lights and the warm and hospitable spirit they exemplify. You make us all shine.

Sincerely,

Adam Grinold, MSVCOC Executive Director

Wilmington

Linda Anelli, chair, Bright Lights
