WILMINGTON - Friends of Pettee Memorial Library are presenting the annual Book Box Raffle on Town Meeting day, Tuesday, March 6, at Twin Valley Elementary School. The annual raffle promotes reading, fun, and mindful activities for people of all ages, and continues to raise awareness for Pettee Memorial Library.

Two hand-stenciled cheeseboxes are stuffed full of books and family fun items that fit this year’s themes of “Vermont” and “Climate/Weather.” Donations to the baskets were made by the Friends of Pettee Memorial Library, with special thanks to Ellie Roden of Vermont Pressed Flowers and Nicki Steel Photography.

Entries into the raffle can be made at the library, all morning at Town Meeting, and during voting, with the drawing to be held by the early afternoon before the activities of Town Meeting end. Participants do not need to be present to win. Tickets are $1 or six tickets for $5. All proceeds will benefit the programs and activities of Pettee Memorial Library. For information call Therese Lounsbury at (802) 464-0790.
