Miss Martin retired from Western Electric in Kearny, NJ, before moving to Marlboro. Among her many favorite things to do was plant a garden every year with her sister Mildred. Miss Martin, also known as “Bea,” planted vegetables, fruits, and flowers and enjoyed sharing the abundance of crops with friends and family. Miss Martin also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs Penny and Molly. She was a member of the Pioneers, Stanley Holmes chapter, the Jacksonville Homemakers Group, and the Breakfast Club. She was a longtime supporter of the Humane Society and the Veterans Administration.
Her survivors include sister Ruth Felip and husband Ernie, of Gloucester, NC; brothers, Arthur R. Martin and wife Doris, of Navarre, FL’ John Martin and wife Leslie, of Lima, OH, David Martin and wife Patricia, of Morristown NJ, and Charles Martin, of Tuckerton, NJ. Miss Martin also had many nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
Miss Martin was preceded in death by her brothers Richard and Edward Martin and her sister Mildred Martin.
