NORTH ADAMS, MA- Anita May (Parent) Passardi, 81, died Thursday, August 30, at Williamstown Commons. She was born in Readsboro on February 15, 1931, daughter of Arthur Parent and Irene (Aubertine) Parent Pratt. She attended schools in Wilmington.

Mrs. Passardi was last employed by Mount Snow Ski Resort. She was an active communicant of St. Joachim’s Church in Readsboro, where she was a member of its St. Anne’s Society. Mrs. Passardi helped organize turkey dinners and assisted with other church fundraisers. She also enjoyed gardening, giving to charity, and spending time with family and friends, especially brunch on Sundays with the girls.

She was the widow of Alfred Passardi who died on February 11, 1995; they were married on March 21, 1970. Two brothers and one sister are deceased including Barbara Randall and Raymond and Leonard Parent. Survivors include one daughter, Irene Wilges, of New Lebanon, OH; three sons, Edward Lescarbeau, of West Carrollton, OH, Michael Lescarbeau, of North Adams, and Bruce Lescarbeau, of Readsboro; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeannette Brown, of Wilmington; and nieces and nephews.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Passardi was celebrated September 4 at St. Joachim’s Church in Readsboro. Burial followed in Village Cemetery.
