STRATTON– A holiday season full of events, activities, and of course, snow, is in store for skiers and riders at Stratton Mountain Resort. The holiday schedule is packed with music, activities for families, a yoga celebration, parties, and fireworks.

There will be free live music for après and late night at Grizzly’s, weekends all season. Free and family-friendly bands rock at Grizzly’s above the Base Lodge every weekend, and DJs keep the party running into the night. Music is also daily from December 27 to 29, with special performances on New Year’s Eve.

There will be daily crafts and activities for families on December 26 through 31. Cookie decorating, ornament making, and other holiday crafts, free for kids every day at 4 pm. Plus free cocoa in the morning and sugar on snow in the afternoon to sweeten the ski day.

A variety of entertainment every evening, free and family friendly. December 27: warm the hands and warm the heart, with Beryl Bender Birch. An invitation to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the moment from 7 to 8:30 pm, at the Living Room.

On December 28 is the holidays celebration. A party in the Base Lodge with a farmers market, local crafts, live music by DEVI, slack line, mountain hooping, food, and more, from 7 to 9 pm.

On December 29 the West Coast swing class, teaching this freestyle form of dance, no partner required and beginners are welcome from 7 to 8:30 pm, at the Living Room.

On December 30, everyone’s drumming. An interactive drumming experience for people of all ages from 7 to 8:30 pm, at the Living Room.

On December 31, free party and family fun activities. Kids’ crafts, karaoke, face painters, balloon art, magic, and more, in the Base Lodge East Wing from 7 to 9 pm.

“Om for the Holidays,” December 27 through 30. An enlightened celebration from mat to mountain of yoga, music, balance, and joy to melt away holiday stress. This three-day yoga festival features classes from renowned yoga instructors, hooping classes, guided hikes, and exciting evening events like swing dancing, drumming, and an evening festival. Evening activities are free and open to everyone, and those wishing to attend classes and daytime activities may purchase an individual class or one- or three-day passes.

World snowboard day is on December 30. Celebrate snowboarding as a sport, a culture, and a lifestyle with a day full of exclusive events and offers, including a snowboard flash mob, movie premieres, free clinic, retail specials, snowboard trivia, and more.

New Year’s Eve fireworks, torchlight parade, and parties on December 31. Ring in the New Year with the annual fireworks, and torchlight parade and parties for everyone. Festivities include a family-friendly dinner buffet, free entertainment and crafts for the family, fireworks and a midnight party at Grizzly’s.

There will be a family buffet and free family party from 7 to 9 pm. Fireworks, torchlight parade, and 21 Jump Salute at 8:30 pm.

Grizzly’s Rockabilly New Year’s Eve for adults 21 and over from 8:30 pm to 1 am. Advance reservations are required for the family dinner and Grizzly’s New Year’s Eve at (800) STRATTON.
