To the Editor,

What a pleasure to be able to walk the trails in the Deerfield Valley in so many directions! It has been truly a community effort to make these trails all meet together and provide such a broad perspective of what Vermont is all about...fully enjoying being outdoors.

As a resident of Chimney Hill, I want to thank and recognize the CHOA maintenance crew, who not only cleared common land to create a wonderfully rustic picnic area complete with picnic table, at the conjunction of Chimney Hill and Haystack Roads, but also installed the trailhead signs as well. Well done, Gary LaPosta, Chris Ross, Mitch Bolognani, Dean Scott, and Derrick Schad.

Derek Gould, Chimney Hill Resident
