BRATTLEBORO- Get out your mustaches and tiaras. New England Youth Theater presents the “Summer Melodrama Festival: Part 2.” Join in for a romping good time during NEYT’s classic summer productions of four fabulous melodramas as the festival of melodrama continues.

“Princesses vs. Zombies” was written by Jane Baker and is directed by her with Moriah Martel. Come witness your classic fairy tale princesses, like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, battle brain-eating, undead zombies ... and vampires ... and werewolves.

“Princesses vs. Zombies” performs Friday, July 27, at 8 pm, Saturday, July 28, at 6 pm, and Sunday, July 29, at 3 pm.

“Deadwood Dick, or The Game of Gold” was written by Tom Taggart and is being directed by Aleda Bliss with Hayden Bunker. This play is a rootin’-tootin’ wild western melodrama of the gay ‘90s. “Deadwood Dick” performs Friday, July 27, at 6 pm, Saturday, July 28, at 8 pm, and Sunday, July 29, at 1 pm.

Tickets for these performances are $7 and may be purchased in advance at or at the door the day of the performance. The shows play at New England Youth Theater at 100 Flat Street.
