WILMINGTON- Mary Therese Wright, artist and director of Gallery Wright exhibits new drawings at River Gallery School in Brattleboro during the month of February. Wright’s large scale charcoal drawings are bold, powerful reminders of the beauty of the human form and condition. River Gallery School at 32 Main Street in Brattleboro will be open from 5 to 7 pm this Friday as part of Brattleboro’s Gallery Walk.

More of Wright’s figure work can be seen at Gallery Wright in the gallery’s new beautiful, expanded, out of the flood plain, location at 103 West Main Street, near the Vermont Bowl Company. Visit www.gallerywright.com or call (802) 464-9922 for more information. Gallery Wright, Wilmington’s signature gallery, showcases emerging and regionally accomplished New England artists working in oils and pastels. The doors open for the first time in the new primary gallery at 103 West Main this Saturday, February 2, at 10 am. Stop in, see how the new space has shaped up.

While out and about this weekend visit Gallery Wright’s two new super satellite spaces, the Hermitage Club’s membership center (www.Haystackclub.com) and the White House Inn in Wilmington (www.whitehouseinn.com). Great skiing, great food, complimented by great art.
