BARRE- Leona Elnora Bills Fuller, “Ona,” died on May 4 at the Berlin Hospital surrounded by her two daughters, Barbara and Natalie, as well as their loving families.

Mrs. Fuller was born in Jamaica, and was married to and divorced from John W. Fuller, deceased. They had a son, John B. Fuller, who died at age 19.

She moved to Wilmington when her children were young and worked for Dr. Milton Wolf for many years. She also had been the head chambermaid at The Andirons Motel for several years.

Upon her retirement Mrs. Fuller moved to West Branch Apartments in Stowe, where she resided for 30 years. There she had many friends and they enjoyed wonderful times together.

For the past four years she has lived at the Berlin Health and Rehab facility in Barre.

She leaves her daughter, Barbara and John Pike, of Bullhead City, AZ, and their five children Kim and Brian McCormick, of Yarmouth Port, MA; John G. Pike, of Boston, MA; Alan and wife Lisa Werner, of Shelburne; Scott and wife Colleen Pike, of Milton; and adopted son, Joshua Pike, of Brownsville.

She also leaves her daughter, Natalie and Harlon Sparks, of New Hartford, NY, and their two children, Jacqueline and Neal Gray, of Marietta, GA; and Douglas and Jacqueline Sparks, of Newark Valley, NY.

Her Pike great-grandchildren are James, Brittany, Seth, Ashley, Hunter, Sage, Boaz, Nina, and Safari. Her Sparks great-grandchildren are Derek and Elizabeth.

She also leaves a sister, Doris Clark, of Springfield.

“Ona” was dearly loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be missed.

Private gravesite services will be held at a later date in the Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington. Arrangements are by the Covey, Allen and Shea funeral home in Wilmington.
