Mr. Connors owned and operated Saybrook Oil Company in Old Saybrook, CT. He enjoyed playing golf, swimming, walking, and working in his yard in Vermont. He was a director on the board of Essex Saving Bank. He was a member of Holiday Isles Elks, the American Legion in Madeira Beach, Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church in Florida, and Lady of Fatima R.C. Church in Vermont.
He is survived by his wife Dee; daughter Laurie; son David; son-inlaw Mark; and grandson Mark Jr.
A memorial service will be held in Vermont at Lady of Fatima at some time in the near future.
