On behalf of the entire Celebrate the Valley Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Grand Race.
This year’s race was another successful, fun-filled day, where all those who attended were challenged both mentally and physically, almost to exhaustion!
A total of 16 teams from near and far participated this year with our winning team coming from Connecticut.
This event would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the staff of the Celebrate the Valley Inc. Our event was also made possible by all of the businesses where challenges took place and by generous contributions from our sponsors, in particular Al Sieffert and G Housen and Mount Snow.
We would like to thank all of the Rotary members that volunteered and all of our other volunteers. This event and all of our events, would not be possible without volunteers like you.
A very special thanks to The Deerfield Valley News for their pre-event coverage once again. Our next event, The Deerfield Valley Civil War Days, will take place at the Matterhorn Inn July 25 and 26.
