BELLOWS FALLS- Irish harpist and singer Áine Minogue will celebrate the solstice, winter, and Christmas live in concert at Immanuel Episcopal Church, 20 Church Street at 7:30 pm on Saturday, December 14.

“To Warm the Winter’s Night” is a Celtic mid-winter celebration featuring Minogue. This pan-Celtic odyssey is an enchanting evening of music, storytelling, and tradition. By turns solemn and joyous, “To Warm a Winter’s Night” offers an emotional and evocative musical experience and is a wonderful alternative to the usual holiday fare.

Traditional Irish music and dance continue to enjoy phenomenal success both here and in Ireland. Minogue is an artist who has long explored its themes and who captures its very essence. Her voice reflects the lyricism and richness to be found in Irish music, mythology, and poetry with a voice undeniably her own and a diverse group of instruments that add to the traditional flavor of her work.

Doors will open at 7 pm. Admission is $17 for adults ($13 for seniors and children under 12) in advance and $20 ($15) at the door.

Advance tickets are available at Village Square Booksellers and at www.sca-irc.wildapricot.org. Tickets are also available at the door.
