To The Editor:

Last weekend’s Irish Cultural Celebration was such a wonderful treat. Many thanks go to the Friends of Pettee Library and the Memorial Hall board who put together this enjoyable event. Thanks also go to the Matterhorn for providing a great corned beef and coleslaw spread. The talented author Michael Nethercott told Irish ghost stories and signed copies of his new book. The night was capped off by the delightful dancers from the McFadden Academy of Irish Dance. We are already looking forward to next year’s event! The library is very grateful for all the donations we received and thank you to everyone who attended!
