WILMINGTON- Local author and entrepreneur Don Jones (alias The Wizard,) is hosting a party to introduce the public to his new book, “The Adventures of the Wizard and his Friends” at Bartleby’s Books, 17 West Main Street, on November 16, at 10 am to noon. Join in for a fun morning with the Wizard, who will read a couple of his stories for children ages 5 to12, entertainment, singing and dancing will follow. Snacks will be provided by Folly Foods.

The Wizard’s adventures are fun, entertaining, and educational for children of all ages. Each story has been beautifully illustrated and they make perfect bedtime stories. Not only that, each story talks about the plight of animals around the globe that are endangered due to their environment or because of the human race.

The reviews are in and children across the country have already been enjoying this book. So come and find out what the buzz is about and see how fascinated and entertained your children will be to learn about the Wizard and how he helps the polar bears or the sea turtles or even the black rhinoceros.

The party is free and open to the public. Be one of the first five through the door and receive a special gift from “The Wizard.” Get a photograph taken with the Wizard and get to wear his special wizard hat and carry his magic stick.

Don and Jane Jones are owners of Catamount Carpet Cleaning and founders of Magical Earth Retreats, a public charity created to reconnect with nature.
