Duo theaters team up for play

PUTNEY– The Apron Theater Company and the Next Stage Arts Project present “The Cripple of Inishmaan,” a play by Martin McDonagh, directed by Karla Baldwin. “The Cripple of Inishmaan” opens Thursday, August 8, at Next Stage, 15 Kimball Hill, and runs through Sunday, August 11, and Thursday, August 15, through Saturday, August 17. Evening performances are at 8. The Sunday, August 8, performance is a 2 pm.

The Apron Theater Company was founded by Karla Baldwin, Hallie Flower, and Carrie Kidd. “The Cripple of Inishmaan” marks Apron’s second production as the Next Stage Arts Project’s “theater-company-in-residence” following its outstanding production of “Wit” in July.
