To the Editor,

The Cos fund goes nation-wide. The Cos fund is a non-profit organization established to honor the spirit of our son, brother, and friend, Michael Kellam Costello who was fondly referred to as “Cos.” Costello lost his battle with cancer in 2011.

The Cos fund supports undergraduate students with high financial needs achieve academic success through the gift of textbooks. Many students across America are limited by their inability to purchase expensive required texts and necessary learning materials.

The Cos fund enables students to be independent thinkers and learners by removing financial obstacles to educational achievement.
