Comment on airport expansion plans on the mark

To the Editor:

I have lived, and owned a multitude of businesses, in the valley since 1970, and my response to Carl Swanson’s critique of the plan to expand the Mount Snow airport, is a quote from an eighties pop song “You took the words right out of my mouth.” Well spoken, Carl. Ditto! Ditto! Ditto!

I guess if all one cares about in the world is money and cheesy tourism. Who is going to be able to fly into this valley except the super rich? Perhaps Jerry you should put as much effort into fixing up your slumlord property's before worrying about this matter

Well see if everyone is as favorable when Barne' jets fly in over their homes ruining the peace, silence and tranquility of the Valley. Selling Barnes the land he needs to extend the runways would be an irreparable mistake.
