WILMINGTON- Wonder what painting is all about? The sequencing workshop is a quick dip in those waters. It’s freeing, it’s fun, it’s a mess and then it’s great. On Saturday, February 22, from 1 to 4 pm at Gallery Wright, is the monthly sequencing workshop.

Sequencing is an approach to painting developed by Ric Campman, founder of the River Gallery School in Brattleboro. It is a way for both the absolute novice and experienced art-makers to enter the process of painting. The intent is to keep the connection between the hand and the eye as intuitive and nonintellectual as possible.

The workshop will be led by Mary Wright, a certified sequencing instructor. Price for this workshop is $65. Pre-registar at (802) 464-9922. Located at 103 West Main Street, Gallery Wright is a signature Vermont gallery representing artists working in landscape, figure, botanical and still life.
