JACKSONVILLE- On Thursday, January 2, at 7 pm, the Whitingham Free Public Library will be showing the 1942 classic film “Holiday Inn,” starring Bing Crosby, Fred

Astaire, and Marjorie Reynolds with music by Irving Berlin.

In 1943, the film received an Academy Award for Best Original Song (Irving Berlin for “White Christmas”) as well as Academy Award nominations for Best Score (Robert Emmett Dolan) and Best Original Story (Irving Berlin).
