BRATTLEBORO- A celebration of those who teach art in Windham County will be held at The Hub, 57 Harmony Place, from April 4 to April 30.

The opening reception is Friday, April 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, and the gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 5 pm.

Students are challenged to do their best work and our teachers are always there for those who need assistance or inspiration. Windham County art teachers hold everyone to a high standard and understand it is a standard all students can reach.

Study after study has shown that arts education is a powerful and important component of learning and confirms that the arts strengthen education. They also improve academic achievement, enhance test scores, attitudes, social skills, and critical and creative thinking. The arts also exercise and develop higher order thinking skills including analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and problem-finding.
