To the Editor,

Thank you to all who gave “The gift of life.”

The American Red Cross and the Dover Forge Restaurant would like to thank all those persons who so generously donated their blood at the second annual Dover Forge Community Blood Drive on Friday, February, 28. The Red Cross set a goal of 25 pints and the final count was 28, making this year’s effort a resounding success.

In addition, we would like to thank Linda Anelli, Betty Crawford, and Suzanne Waller for their support in registering donors throughout the drive.

Without their help, none of this would have happened.

The date for next year is scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2015. Mark your calendars, we hope to see you then. Again, thank you all.

Mark Chapman
