DOVER- Hike, bike, run, swim, kayak, skydive, do whatever it takes to find the six secret objects that combine to make up the best all-around mental and physical adventure challenge in New England.

Starting immediately, put some mental and physical skills to the test with adventure through the Green Mountains in the Dover/Wilmington region. Once registered, people will receive a mission packet that has photos of the six secret objects and maps of the trails they’re on. The maps won’t show which objects are on which trails, that’s for contestants to discover.

The objects are broken into three levels: easy, difficult, and insane. Do any levels, in any order. Get a team of friends together and register as one, or do it singly.

When in the mountains searching for primary objects, keep an eye out for the treasure chests hidden along the way. Inside, find vouchers and gift certificates good for food, outdoor gear, lodging, cash, and other treasures.

After Adventure season closes on September 15, there will be a drawing held for the grand prize cash pot. With $10 of each event registration going into this pot, it could be a huge payday for a lucky adventurer.

Better yet, $50 of each event registration is donated to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

The challenge is being sponsored by Green Mountain Marketing. All event details and registrations can be found on www.greenmountainvermont.com.
