DOVER– The St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Mount Snow has become famous for great lift ticket deals, live music and other events to celebrate the one day when everyone is Irish, but this year the resort has turned it into a three-day extravaganza and dubbed March 15 to 17 “Bud Light ShamRock Weekend.” Each day will feature huge live music acts outside in the Main Base Area’s beer garden, Irish food specials, and some new events.

On Saturday, the beer garden in the Main Base Area will feature a live performance from Gobshites as well as an outdoor barbecue. Sunday morning kicks off with the Blessing of the Skis at 8 am at the summit, where an officiant will conduct the ceremony to bless attendees’ skis and snowboards. Then at 1 pm the beer garden will rock to the sounds of international touring act Enter the Haggis as they take the stage for a huge live performance.

Things get going early on St. Patrick’s Day with green eggs and kegs in Cuzzins Bar and Grill starting at 8 am. At 10 am clues will start being posted for the Pot O’ Gold Scavenger Hunt; whoever finds where the pot o’ gold is hidden on the mountain wins a 2014/2015 Mount Snow season pass. After that the beer garden will be filled with the sounds of premier U2 tribute band Joshua Tree. Guests can also “Kiss the Cuzzins Rock” for good luck.

All of this can be enjoyed for less because Mount Snow is offering a few different advance purchase lift ticket deals. One-day tickets for Monday, March 17, are available for $17; two-day tickets for March 16 and 17 are being offered for $75; and three-day tickets for March 15-17 can be had for $135. All of these ticket deals must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance online.
